Dennis Trillo & Tom Rodriguez Back Into Each Other's Arms In 'Magpakailanman' This Saturday Night

LOCAL TV’S MOST famous gay lovers are back: Dennis Trillo and Tom Rodriguez who really hit it big with last year’s “My Husband’s Lovers”. This Saturday, they are the special guest in the exciting episode of Mel Tiangco’s hit drama anthology, “Magpakailanman”. Titled “Mandirigma”, they won’t play lovers this time but good friends, both athletes, who eventually have to compete with each other. This is based on the true story of real life mixed martial arts athletes, Edouard Folayong and Mark Sangiao.

“Mandirigma” answers such questions as: What are you willing to sacrifice for your personal dreams? Are you willing to risk the future of your own family by venturing into something that has no certainty?

Edouard and Mark fought for mixed martial arts at the time when it’s not recognized as an official sports event. They didn’t stop until it got the recognition it deserves from their countrymen.

The roles of Edouard and Mark surely fit Dennis and Tom as they’re both very athletic. Aside from them, the special guests in this episode are Sheena Halili, Andrew Schimmer, Snooky Serna and Bembol Roco. Don’t miss it when it’s aired tomorrow night, Saturday, in “Magpakailanman” right after “Vampire ang Daddy Ko” on GMA-7.
