GMA Artist Center Supports Its Talents With Entries In The Metro Filmfest

GMA ARTIST CENTER is proud that many of their stars are part of various entries in this year’s Metro Manila Filmfest. Aside from Alden, also in “10,000 Hours” is Kapuso star Bela Padilla. “It’s great working with my uncle in Amsterdam where we shot many scenes together,” she says. “I learned so much from him.”

Rocco Nacino plays the title role no less in the movie about Filipino saint Pedro Calungsod. “I am hoping that people will watch our movie and that they will appreciate my portrayal of San Pedro Calungsod. I myself was so inspired after learning about his story,” says the star of GMA’s Saturday afternoon show, “Out of Control”. Also with him in the film is the fast-rising Juancho Trivino of “Villa Quintana” and child actor Marc Justine Alvarez.

“Sunday All Stars” top dancer Sef Cadayona leads “Kaleidoscope World”, a hip hop dance movie based on Francis Magalona’s music. “This is my first lead role, filmfest entry pa, so masaya akong ipinagkatiwala ng producers sa akin this great project that will surely entertain viewers with its great musical numbers that pay tribute to Sir Francis Magalona. He’ll always be remembered for his songs. Habang sumasayaw kami sa bawat awit niya, sobra mong mararamdaman yung emotions sa bawat kanta.”

Barbie Forteza in in “My Little Bossings” with Ryzza Mae Dizon, Vic Sotto and Bimby Aquino and she’s happy to be given the chance to work with them. “Sobrang masaya kami sa set kasi masarap silang lahat katrabaho,” she says. The Metro Manila Film Festival entries opens today nationwide.
