3. Cesar Montano and wife Sunshine Cruz
One of the most controversial celebrity breakups is between Cesar Montano and wife Sunshine Cruz who said Cesar had a paramour, Krista Miller, who was in the cast of the movie he was directing then, “Alfredo Lim, The Untold Story”. Cesar denied it, tried to woo back Sunshine when she moved out of their house, but Sunshine never returned and filed a case in court instead for custody of their children. 4. Raymart Santiago and Claudine Barretto
Another controversial couple, Raymart Santiago and Claudine Barretto, admitted in July that they’ve separated. They had a bitter breakup that ended up in court. This got even more messy when the elder sisters of Claudine, Gretchen and Marjorie, both sided with Raymart and revealed that she was really under the influence of drugs and had to take rehab for a while in Thailand. Gretchen and Marjorie had a major falling out with their own parents and their dad even allegedly threatened to shoot Gretchen for testifying in favour of Raymart. 5. Krista Kleiner and Jay-R
Jay-R and beauty queen Krista Kleiner broke up, with Krista accusing Jay-R of physical abuse. Krista is now engaged to be married to her Singaporean fiancé.

13. Daiana Menezes and ex-Cong. Benjo Benaldo
The most mysterious relationship of the year is that of Brazilian beauty Daiana Menezes and ex-Cong. Benjo Benaldo of Cagayan de Oro. It turned out they’ve already gotten married secretly, then Daiana came out in Facebook with fotos showing her black and blue, denouncing her husband for battering her. They kissed and made up then Benaldo hit the headlines for allegedly shooting himself, which he subsequently denied, saying he didn’t try committing suicide.
