The Schedule Of Cinema One Filmfest Entries We'll Watch This Week In Trinoma

WE’VE ALREADY checked the screening sked of Cinema One entries in Trinoma and here’s what we will watch starting tomorrow. Tuesday: 12:30 noon – “Bukas na Lang Sapagkat Gabi Na” about three intertwined stories during martial law. 2:30 PM – “Bendor” starring Vivian Velez in the title role as a Quiapo vendor in the crossroads of her life. 5 PM- “Shift” about the sexual lives of call center agents. 7:30 PM – “Sitio” about a family that moves back from the city to simple rural life and the changes that happen in their lives. 10 PM – “Woman of the Ruins” about someone presumed dead who reappears in a storm-tossed island, starring Alex de Rossi.

Wednesday – 5 PM – “Kabisera” about the transformation of a man (Joel Torre) in Negros from an innocent man to a ruthless father and drug dealer (what’s this, “Breaking Bad”?) 7:30 PM – “Riddles of My Homecoming” about traditional beliefs of tribes in Mindanao after a person dies. 10 PM – “Saturday Night Chills” about aimless young people throwing their lives away and the tragedy that changes them.

Thursday – 5 PM – “Pagbabalat ng Ahas” 7:30 PM – A comedy about a family and a snake man. “Islands” a sci-fi story about a spacecraft that landed in an island. 10 PM – “Alamat ni China Doll” – a drama-thriller starring Phillip Salvador, Cesar Montano, Carlo Aquino and Angelica Panganiban

Friday – 12:30 PM – “Blue Bustamante” about an OFW in Japan and how he comes a character in a Japanese superhero show. 5 PM – “Iskalawags” about growing up in the remote Camotes Island.

Saturday – 12:30 PM – “Philippino Story” starring Mark Gil and Junjun Quintana in a cautionary story about male prostitution. 2:30 PM – “Angustia” with Alex Vincent Medina as a randy 19th priest in Bicol whose paranoia ends in murder.
