Michael V Electrocutes And Shocks Good Friend Ogie Alcasid'

OGIE ALCASID got the shock of his life when he was electrocuted while singing in the pilot episode of “Killer Karaoke, Pinoy Naman” that starts airing on TV5 tonight at 7. Ogie only agreed to be used as a guinea pig in the show’s first episode because the host is none other than his good friend Michael V aka Bitoy.

“As a contestant in the show, I get electric shocks every now and then while I’m singing,” says Ogie. “Nakita naman ni Bitoy the things I’m willing to do for a friend at para mag-rate agad ang first show niya sa TV5. Isa pa, the show’s director is Michael Tuviera, na siya ring director ng isa ko pang show, ‘The Gift’.”

Ogie is also back taping for his own soap, “The Gift”, which was temporarily shelved when it was decided not to be aired simultaneously with Sharon Cuneta’s “Madam Chairman” and to give way to the PBA Games. “Sa January na raw ang airing namin, which is good dahil na-polish namin ang script ng show and also the special effects kasi the story is about a boy gifted with a third eye and can see spirits around him.”
