Amy Perez Parts Ways & Burns Bridges With TV5

IT’s OBVIOUS that the rift between Amy Perez and her former staffers with TV5 is irreparable. She was supposed to co-host the new program “Face the People”, an offshoot of her former “Face to Face”, with Gelli de Belen, but she begged off, so she was replaced by Tintin Bersola. Amy apparently didn’t like it and so she resigned, as seen in her official joint statement with TV5, which goes:

“TV5 Management and Ms. Amy Perez have mutually agreed to part ways. TV5 respects the decision of Ms. Perez to leave the Network due to personal reasons. She had been a valuable talent of TV5. We wish her well and the best of luck in all her endeavors.”

With this, Amy is also leaving the morning show “Good Morning Club”. Looks like her gap with TV5 is really big so she’s burning her bridges. But where will she go? We don’t think ABS-CBN or GMA-7 would be ready to open their doors for her. As of now, she’s still on radio every Saturday night from 6 to 9 PM on 106.7 EnergyFM.
