ATTY. JOJI ALONSO of Quantum Films is scheduling a presscon for Gov. Vilma Santos on July 12 to help promote her first indie movie, “Ekstra”, but Gov. Vi won’t be able to squeeze it in into her heavy schedule. The earliest she’s available is July 24. “Ekstra” will have its gala premiere night at the CCP on Sunday, July 28 yet, 6 PM, but those who can’t wait for that can watch it when Cinemalaya opens on Saturday, July 27. It’ll be showing at 1:30pm at Greenbelt 3 Cinema 3 and at 3:30pm at the CCP Studio theatre. Sunday, it’ll also be shown at 11am at Greenbelt 3 Cinema 5.

Here’s the rest of the sked: July 29, Monday - 1:30pm Trinoma cinema 1, 3:30pm CCP MKP Hall. July 30, Tuesday - 6:30pm Greenbelt 3 cinema 3. July 31, Wednesday - 1:30pm Trinoma cinema 1, Aug. 1, Thursday -3:30pm at CCP Main Theatre and 6:15pm both at CCP Studio Theatre. Direk Jeffrey Jeturian says he doesn’t mind not winning best director come Cinemalaya Awards Night, as long as it’s Gov. Vi who wins as best actress.
