Daniel Matsunaga Thanks His 'Misibis Bay' Co-Stars For Teaching Him On The Set

DANIEL MATSUNAGA has definitely moved on after his breakup with Heart Evangelista. But unlike Heart who has found someone new in Sen. Chiz Escudero, Daniel says he’d rather not get into a new relationship as of now even if lots of girls are sending feelers to him.

“It’s not my priority right now,” he says. “I’m just happy that TV5 is giving me a lot of work, like pairing me with Ritz Azul in ‘Misibis Bay’. My main concern is doing better in my Tagalog para when I deliver my Tagalog lines, hindi tumatawa yung people around me. As of now, I can speak it, but I still have an accent. Gusto ko, mawala yung accent ko.”

Ritz and his other co-stars in “Misibis Bay”, which starts airing tonight at 8 PM after Derek Ramsay’s “Undercover”, are all very helpful in teaching him to deliver his Tagalog lines fluently. “Mababait sila lahat sa akin, even my male co-stars like Victor Silayan, Vin Abrenica and Luke Jickain, tinuturuan nila ko mag-Tagalog. Then there’s also Megan Young, who plays Lara, my girlfriend na very helpful din sa akin. When the story starts, we’re about to get married. Kaso, I met Maita nga, played by Ritz na nagustuhan ko without knowing she’ll be my young stepmother dahil pakakasalan siya ng father kong si Christopher de Leon.”
