Roxanne Guinoo, 28, Doesn'T Mind Playing Mom To Jake Vargas, 20, In 'Home Sweet Home'

ROXANNE GUINOO was supposed to join GMA-7 in 2011 yet but she got pregnant with her second child so she had to bow out. Now, she’s finally a Kapuso star as the wife of Raymart Santiago in “Home Sweet Home” that starts airing on Monday before “24 Oras”. How are her two babies?

“Okay. Rain Eliana was born on September 2010 and Reilly Anthony naman was born last November.”

Now managed by Manny Valera, it’s good her husband Elton Yap allows her to resume her acting career. “He’s very supportive. Alam naman niya I love to act. When I work, he helps take care of our kids. Mahirap lang kasi I breastfeed so I pump milk and put them in bottles to leave it for my baby kapag may taping ako. Nanibago rin ako sa pagharap sa kamera kasi matagal akong nawala sa showbiz. Parang nagsisimula uli ako but it’s good everyone on the set of ‘Home Sweet Home’ is very supportive.”

She looks so slim and can still pass for a single lady. How come she agreed to play the role of a mom of three kids in “Home Sweet Home”, with her eldest being Jake Vargas who’s 20 and she’s only 28 years old? “Okay lang yun. I believe this is a good comeback vehicle for me as it’s a family oriented show, something I can make my own kids watch as it teaches viewers good values while watching the adventures of our family, the Caharians, in a haunted house. Also, masarap katrabaho lahat dito, from Raymart Santiago and Manay Celia Rodriguez as my co-stars to our director, Gil Tejada.”
