“Last year, naka-four movies ako,” she says. “So ngayon, kalahati pa lang ng taon, nakakatatlo na ko and that’s not bad at all.”
She’s so proud of “The Bride and the Lover”. “Mahirap yung role ko as Vivian Paredes, a rich girl na boss ng isang real estate company. E, hindi pa ko naranasan maging boss in real life, so mahirap pala to be someone very bossy. Spoiled ako sa family namin, I use nothing but brand name and signature clothes, shoes and bags. But may pagka-conservative ako. I believe women should be virgins when they face the altar. Dahil dito, naunahan ako ni Jennylyn Mercado in bedding yung lalaking pakakasalan ko, si Paulo Avelino kaya I walk out on him on our wedding day. I was so devastated by the betrayal, but this transformed me. Ako nang nanghabol ng lalaki at si Ahron Villena ang una kong na-seduced.”
It’s in shooting the sex scene with Ahron that she cried. “Kasi, si Direk Joel Lamangan wants me to be so wild. Ako pa ang umupo kay Ahron tapos sabi niya, pump, Lovi! Pump! Nang mapanood ko ang rushes, nahiya ako sa sarili ko. Ano itong pinaggagawa ko? If I can delete that scene talaga, gagawin ko, but ayaw ni Direk, e. So mapapanood nyo yun ng buong-buo and please watch it para di naman masayang ang pumping na ginawa ko roon.”
In one scene, she called Jennylyn a “burikak” (prostitute). “I didn’t know what it means but Direk Joel said, basta sabihin mo. When I googled it, hindi pala siya magandang salita, pero nakakaaliw sabihin,” she laughs.
