“Ay hindi po, hindi po!” he vehemently replied.
Is he aware that Dr. Vicki Belo, his “best friend”, is campaigning for “The Bride and The Lover” and helping promote his film debut? “Hindi naman dahil sa’kin yun. Lovi Poe and Jennylyn Mercado are both Belo endorsers so tinutulungan lang niya ang mga ito. She’ll even have a billboard put up with them to help the movie.”
Will Dr. Belo attend the movie’s premiere night with him? “No, I know her son Quark is graduating in the States so baka doon siya magpunta.”
It’s good Dr. Belo agreed for him to be active in showbiz again when she said before that showbiz corrupted him. “I always consult her naman about the offers to me. She gives me her views, the pros and cons, but in the end, ako pa rin ang final decision. I’m not going into showbiz full time kasi may ZO Line pa rin ako that I manage for Belomed and also my own Hayden scents. My prayer is that sana, mabalik pa rin sa’kin ang license ko to practice medicine again.”
In “The Bride and the Lover”, he plays Lovi Poe’s personal bodyguard. “Siga-siga ang dating ko rito but in the end, may twist sa character ko.”
It’ll be revealed that he’s having an affair with Jennylyn’s friend, Joem Bascon. In his next movie, “Tinik” by Romy Suzara, he’ll play someone with both a girl and a gay lover. The girl is Jamilla Obispo of PBB 1 and the gay lover is Raymond Bagatsing.
