IT’S VALENTINE and GMA News TV Channel 11 launches a new romantic documentary series, “Wagas: Mga Totoong Kuwento ng Pag-ibig”, an hour-long weekly docudrama featuring extraordinary love stories of real life couples to be portrayed by some of the best Kapuso artists today. Some of the couples who will be featured in “Wagas” are Senator Miriam Defensor and lawyer Narciso “Jun” Santiago (played by Heart Evangelista and Geoff Eigenmann); radio personality Nicole Hyala and fan-turned-husband Renly Tinana; and executive chef Chef Boy and Ermilinda Logro. It starts airing tonight at 7 PM.
We have a tip for them. One of the best real love stories we ever heard was that of Armida Siguion Reyna and her late husband Atty. Leonardo Siguion Reyna. If they could convince Tita Midz to allow them to do it, we assure them viewers will just love it.
