Kris Aquino Accused Of Using Fight With Ex-Husband James Yap For Publicity Of 'Sisterakas'

KRIS AQUINO said at the presscon of “Sisterakas” that ex-hubby James Yap’s allegation that they’re friends is simply not true. “Ayokong magpaka-plastic,” she says. “It’s easy to say na okay kami, but we’re not. I think we’re better off having a distance from each other as we misinterpret ang isa’t isa. There’s no bitterness in my heart but I have no desire for any closeness with him. Let’s not talk about him anymore.”

Because of this, some quarters twitted that she’s just using her personal relationship once again to gain publicity for “Sisterakas”. While in the hospital because of some allergy, Kris twitted back: “I'm being accused of using my ex husband for publicity. All I said was that no bitterness doesn't necessarily mean a desire for closeness. I have my reasons, I felt nabastos ako in my own home last week. I'm not making a big issue but i was offended deeply & sorry, di ko kaya to be plastic & pretend we are friends. Sorry ha, on steroids & heavy doses of antihistamines so my patience is short. I've matured considerably because I didn't mention what we fought about. Wag na lang sana ako i-provoke because I'm trying to remain patient & quiet. Maybe I should have just said no comment in the presscon.”
