Enrique Gil Says 2012 Has Been A Very Good Year For Him, Hopes 2013 Will Be Even Better

ENRIQUE GIL’s last film was a horror flick, “Amorosa”, and his latest one is also a horror-thriller, “The Strangers”, an entry in the Metro filmfest from Atty. Joji Alonso’s Quantum Films.

“Sa ‘Amorosa’, brother ko si Martin del Rosario at mom namin si Angel Aquino,” he says. “Sa ‘The Strangers’, kami naman ni Julia ang magkapatid at mom namin si Cherry Pie Picache. Kami yung strangers dito, mga dayo sa isang small town where there are some mysterious happenings. Yun lang ang puede naming i-reveal kasi there’s a big twist in the ending that will really surprise the viewers. This is directed by Lawrence Fajardo. Excited ako kasi first time ko magka-entry sa filmfest at sasakay kami ng buong cast sa float on December 23. We’re hoping all our fans will be there to give us moral support sa parade.”

He feels so fortunate that this year has been a very good one for him. On TV, right after “Budoy”, he was cast opposite Kathryn Bernardo in “The Princess and I”. On the big screen, he did three movies. Aside from “Amorosa” and ‘The Strangers’, he was also in the youth movie “The Reunion”. “I have so much to be thankful for. Sana magtuloy-tuloy sa 2013 na mas maging maganda at mas dumami pa ang projects ko.”
