DIRECTOR BERT de Leon is helming Vic Sotto’s new game show on TV5. What’s interesting is that it’s in direct competition of his two shows on GMA-7 on Sundays: “Pepito Manaloto” starring Michael V, which he directs, and “Protege, The Battle for the Big Artista Break”, where he’s one of the judges. “Di bale,” he says, “two weeks na lang naman ang ‘Protege’ at matatapos na.”
Direk Bert, who’s the manager of Arnell Pineda, also just finished directing “The Jose & Wally Show Starring Vic Sotto” for TV5. As a ‘Protege’ judge, he says he won’t be surprised if Mikoy Morales and Elle Ramirez would compete among the final four as they give excellent performances.
