Bea Binene's Role Is Bigger Than That Of Barbie Forteza In 'Luna Blanca, Ikalawang Yugto'

BEA BINENE, admit it or not, has a bigger role than Barbie Forteza in “Luna Blanca, Ikalawang Yugto”. As Luna, most of the new characters added in the story revolve around her. First is Gina Alajar as Linda, the woman she saves from being buried alive in the dumpsite who later on adopts her. Then, there’s Gina’s husband, Allan Paule. She also has more villains who’ll oppress her: Marissa Delgado, Chynna Ortaleza and Ryza Cenon. She’s paired with Kristoffer Martin, who plays a singer with Yassi Pressman as his showbiz ka-love team. When he falls for Bea, Yassi also becomes another antagonist to Bea.

On the other hand, Barbie interacts with only one new character, Derrick Monasterio as Kiko, her childhood friend who continues to protect her when they grow up.

Bea admits her role is also more difficult because of the black make up applied on her. “Sa face and neck po, hanggang sa likod ko, they put on black make up,” she says. “Pero sa arms and legs, airbrush po, paint na ini-spray ang ginagamit sa’kin. It takes two hours to darken me and it takes one hour naman to remove all the black paint and make up. Kailangan kaskasin mo muna ng oil then I take a bath. Nagka-rashes na nga po ako.”

Doesn’t she miss Jake Vargas? “Nakaka-miss nga kasi in all my past shows, siyang kapareha ko. Birthday niya kahapon (July 9) and I greeted him sa text. But okay rin namang kapareha si Kristoffer. Naging friends na kami sa ‘Tween Hearts’ so comfortable na kami with each other.”
