Maricel Soriano Watches Over Dolphy At The Icu While He'S Unconscious

ERIC QUIZON’s manager Dolor Guevarra told us that Dolphy’s kids are not losing hope that he’d still recover. “Nagmulat na siya ng mga mata so it’s a sign he’s improving,” she says. “Kaya natuwa si Eric at lahat ng mga kapatid niya.”

Dolphy’s three daughters (Sally, Madonna and Zia) alternate in keeping him company, along with his TV daughter (Maricel Soriano.) “Si Maricel, hindi talaga umaalis doon sa ICU,” says Dolor. “Parang tunay na anak siya ni Dolphy.”

Dolor said Eric has also checked the bronze coffin Dolphy got for himself way back in the 70s. “Maayos pa rin daw. Napahiram daw yun once, sa father ni Erap. Maayos din ang family estate nila sa Loyola Memorial in Marikina where his parents are buried along with his siblings Sonny and Georgie and his son Freddie.”

Dolphy was born as Rodolfo Vera Quizon on July 25, 1928. So, he’d be 84 a month from now. So many people love him. When it was announced that he needs blood transfusion, donors trooped to the hospital to donate their blood, including Ai Ai de las Alas since she has exactly the same blood type as Dolphy. Several groups are also offering prayers and masses for his full recovery. We’re not wondering that Dolphy is well loved as he has remained humble and really has excellent PR. We ourselves can vouch for that.
