Lorna Tolentino Assesses The Acting Talent Of Her Younger Co-Stars In 'Valiente'

IT’S THE FINALE week of “Valiente” and it’ll be an acting showdown between mortal enemies JC De Vera as Gardo and Oyo Sotto as Theo. Lorna Tolentino, who joined the series in its last month as Mila, says she was amazed at how good both JC and Oyo are in their respective roles.

“Most of my scenes are with JC kasi tinulungan ko siyang maghiganti sa mga umapi sa family nila at bilib ako kasi his eyes really act well pag nagdadrama,” she says. “Kaya niyang makipagsabayan sa’min nina Jaclyn Jose and other more senior actors. Si Oyo naman, nagulat ako kasi his dad Vic is a well known comedian, tapos, heto’t nagdradrama rin siya nang buong husay at effortless, huh. But hindi lang sila ang magaling sa show but also the young actresses in the cast, like Nadine Samonte who plays my missing daughter, at si Nina Jose. May kanya-kanya silang atake at style. It helps na magaling ang director namin, si Joel Lamangan, kaya nagagabayan sila nang husto. Lahat sila, may mararating sa pag-arte.”
