Amy Austria Now Billed With Husband's Family Name To Ward Off Suitors Who Think She'S Single

AMY AUSTRIA got sick while doing ‘Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin’ she decided to stop acting in teleseryes, but she’s now back in “Lorenzo’s Time”. What convinced her to do it?

“Deo Endrinal and his staff met with me, pinagtulungan nila ko,” she jokes. “They explained the project and the role to me at nagustuhan ko naman.

How come she’s now billed as Amy Austria-Ventura? “It’s my decision. Sabi ko kay Manay Lolit (Solis, her manager), gamitin ko na nga ang Ventura kasi 50 years old na ko hanggang ngayon naliligawan pa ko and they think I’m not yet taken,” she laughs. “No, kasi I felt I was blessed by the Lord after maging Mrs. Ventura ako, so it’s about time I use it.”

Her daughter Alex is now married and lives in Auckland, New Zealand. We know she loves her granddaughter Sabine very much.
