Does she plan to follow on Katrina's footsteps and also have a baby soon? "Naku, wala po akong plano. Matagal pa yun. Hindi pa ako ready. Enjoy pa ako sa career ko. Having your own family can wait."
What’s her and Dingdong Dantes’ plan for Holy Week? “Wala pang definite. Noon, he was thinking of going to Shanghai sana, but ang dami palang requirements to get a visa sa China, so hindi na lang. Baka dito na lang.”
In “My Beloved”, she’s supposed to marry Mikael Daez but, on the day of their wedding, she elopes with Dingdong, leading to some significant complications. In real life, would she elope with Dingdong? “There’s no need dahil gusto naman ng family namin ang isa’t isa at wala namang humahadlang sa relationship namin.”
Doesn’t she ever get jealous with Dingdong? “Bigyan nyo ko ng dahilan para ko magselos. Bakit pa ako magseselos, e napakabait niyang tao?”
In “My Beloved”, she has found her real mom, Sharmaine Arnaiz. She’s nice to her but her sister, Jennica Garcia, remains hostile to their mom. How’s it working with Sharmaine? “Masaya. First meeting namin, sabi niya, puede ba magpa-picture kasi ayaw maniwala ng followers ko sa Facebook na we’ll be acting together? So ayun, nagpakuha kami. Makuwento siya. Masarap kasama.”
She posed in a swimsuit for the cover of Cosmo. How come she declined FHM? “Yung sa Cosmo, it’s my manager who told me about it. Wholesome daw. Hindi masagwa. Then I asked Dong, puede ba, and he said, okay, so I did it. Yung sa FHM, pabayaan nyo na lang. Basta.”
She confirmed that aside from her daily primetime soap, she’ll also soon have a sitcom, “Tweets for My Sweet”. Joining her in its cast are Sheena Halili (who worked with her in “Amaya”), Nova Villa, Barbie Forteza, Elmo Magalona (which made Joshua Dionisio agonize as he’s no longer paired with Barbie), Chef Boy Logro (in his first acting role as Marian Rivera’s dad) and Roderick Paulate, directed by Uro de la Cruz.
