RICHARD GUTIERREZ had his first taping day for his new soap, “Makapiling Kang Muli”, last week at the provincial jail in Sta. Cruz, Laguna last week. “Showbiz Central” visited him on location and he said he’s excited. “Ang tagal kong nabakante sa pag-arte as I hosted ‘Survivor Philippines’ so I’m thrilled to act again,” he says. “I’m just thankful okay ang director kong si Ricky Davao. This is the first time we’re working together at hanga ako sa kanya as I can feel his passion as a director and his passion for the show. Marami siyang shots kumuha, parang pelikula. I’m very happy with the entire team working with me in this project.”
Ricky, in turn, said he didn’t believe it at first when he was told he’d direct Richard’s new show. “First time ko to direct solo sa primetime at malaki siyang artista so this is a very big project. I said maniniwala lang ako when we’re working na on the set,” he said. “Before we started taping, I was nervous, stressed, but also honored na pinagkatiwalaan ako ng GMA-7 to direct this significant project. We promise to do our best to make this truly worthwhile for the viewers.”
