Diego Castro He Was In Conflict With Late Dad Angelo Castro

WHEN INTERVIEWED by Pia Guanio in “Showbiz Central”, former Viva actor Diego Castro admitted that he and his late dad Angelo Castro Jr. had big conflicts before as father and son. But things improved between them after his dad was diagnosed with lung cancer four years ago. “Nawala lahat ng galit ko,” he said. “I started driving for him again, we eat out together, we watched DVD together.”

He said the last moments of his dad were beautiful. “Maraming naging closures. I was the one who had to let him go kasi sina Mommy, ayaw. We have a choice but he took the choice away from us. He wrote a message for me. He said ‘I’m tired, ayoko na’. He ripped his mask off. I tried to put it back but he said, ‘If you love me , huwag na, no more.”

Soon after removing the support system, his dad left quietly with all their family members around him. What worries now is his mom, June Keithley. “Her cancer started sa breast but now, nasa brain na. She’s also in the hospital.”

What Diego is going through is certainly not easy. Let’s all pray for him and his mom to be able to see the end of the tunnel soon, with the Lord’s help.
