Munting Heredera extended until Christmas

GMA-7 OFFERED a thanksgiving mass for the huge success of the toprated “Munting Heredera”. They’re now extended for another 10 weeks but Director Maryo de los Reyes, they might be airing until Christmas. “It’ll be a nice and fitting conclusion for the child characters if their story would end during the Christmas season,” he says. Won’t the show suffer? “Not really. We’ve already plotted out what will do and there’ll be more surprising twists and turns in the story, also new characters starting with Boots Anson Roa and Robert Arevalo. We’ll make sure hindi lalaylay ang kuwento kahit extended kami.”

The most hated character in the show is Neil Ryan Sese as the main villain, Simeon, who held Mark Anthony Fernandez captive and tortured him. “I’ve done many TV shows pero dito talaga ako nagmarka sa tao,” he says. “Even in real life, maraming galit sa’kin. When I was in Baclaran, some men are challenging me into a fight kasi hindi raw ako parehas lumaban at binubugbog ko si Mark Anthony ng nakatali. I had to explain to them that I’m just playing a role. Even sa Facebook, galit ang reaction ng mga tao sa’kin.”
