OGIE ALCASID denies the story that his and wife Regine’s first baby will be a baby boy. “I don’t know where they got that kasi yung mismong OB namin hindi pa alam,” he laughs. “Although I admit gusto ko ring magka-baby boy dahil I already have two daughters, hindi pa makikita sa ultra sound kung ano ang gender ng baby namin kasi two months pa lang siya. Siguro masyadong excited ang ibang tao for us kaya nauna na silang mag-announce na boy ang magiging baby namin. For us, though, boy man or girl, blessing yun from the Lord kaya tatanggapin naming nang masayang-masaya.”
As for Regine, she now hardly goes out of their house. “Lumalabas lang siya kung magpapa-check up sa doctor. Most of the time, she’s just resting to make sure the baby will be safe and sound in her womb.”
It’s said Regine is now so conscious of her looks as she gained a lot of weight after eating everything she wants to eat. The pounds she gained are very noticeable especially on her hips and her face. “Feeling niya ang lapad-lapad na niya kaya hindi na raw siya dapat tawaging Songbird kundi Big Bird,” says our source.
