Anne Curtis wants to be a singer

ANNE CURTIS is serious in her desire to be a singer. At the victory party of “Who’s That Girl?” that earned P8 million on opening day and has so far raked in P60 million on its first week, she belted two songs without much prodding to show the press she’s got what it takes for Viva Records to give her an album. Someone kidded that whatever “Who’s That Girl?” earned will be lost in producing that album but she’s not fazed by negative comments about her singing voice that she also often displays on TV in “Showtime”. “I love music and no one can stop me,” she proudly declares.

Because of the success of “Who’s That Girl?”, she says Viva is now preparing her follow up project. “I will be paired with Zach Effron.”

Director Wenn Deramas butts in at this point. “And after that, magigising siya and she’ll realize panaginip lang pala ang lahat.” Anne started singing again with her eyes closed. Feel na feel talaga. When she opened her eyes after the song, all the stars surrounding her at the presidential table have fled from her side. Obviously, they appreciate her singing very much.
