Jennica Garcia gets bitten by a dog in Bantatay

JUST AS as the hit family show “Bantatay” is about to end, a freak accident happened when a dog owned by Director Don Michael Perez bit Jennica Garcia, who plays Joanna, on the leg. She had to be rush to the hospital where anti-rabies injections were given to her. Jenn proved to be a real trouper as she even went back to the taping after coming from the hospital. “May scenes pa kasing kukunan sa akin at hindi puedeng i-delay lalo ngayong Gelli de Belen has regained her memory at hina-hunting siya at ang mga anak niya ni Gary Estrada kaya nag-camping sila sa bundok na may halimaw naman,” she explains. Her mom, Jean Garcia, was alarmed when informed about what happened on the taping of her own show, “Alakdana”, where she plays Louise de los Reyes’ mom. Jenn had to call her up to assure everything’s under control. Maybe the dog had to be put to sleep to prevent it from doing more mischief. It’s said Camille Prats, who plays the villainous Daisy in “Bantatay”, was also previously attacked by the same dog but it’s good she was able to run away.
