NEWCOMER JASMINE CURTIS got her first taste of intrigue when it was gossiped that she was seen kissing Luis Manzano, her sister Anne’s leading man in “Who’s That Girl”. “I was bothered but Anne told me to just ignore kasi it’s not true,” she says. She now stars in a two-part Valentine special of Pidol’s Wonderland titled “Jesebilbil” to be shown tonight and on February 13 playing a mermaid-turned-human. The story starts with a fat mermaid, Jesebilbil (Cai Cortez), who loses weight by making a pact with the witch Aruana (Karel Marquez) to turn her into a gorgeous human, Jessa (Jasmine Curtis). Just when she falls in love with Ronaldo (Martin Escudero), some complications occur that threaten her new life as a human. Will Jessa end up with Ronaldo? Find out this afternoon at 5:30 in “Pidol’s Wonderland” on TV5. “This is my first acting job and I hope I give justice to my role,” prays Jasmine.
