Is the marriage of Raymart Santiago and Claudine Barretto on the rocks?

THE THANKSGIVING presscon of “Bantatay” was cancelled since title roler Raymart Santiago wasn’t available due to alleged food poisoning. Some folks say he just doesn’t want to be interviewed by the press as he’d be grilled about persistent reports that his marriage to Claudine Barretto is on the rocks. We just talked to Marjorie Barretto recently and she said such rumors are simply not true. “As far as I know, they’re still together,” she told us.

“Bantatay” is ending next week and they made sure the finale will be an exciting one. Christopher de Leon is the special guest as the country’s president who’ll present an award to Gelli de Belen and her three kids (Krystal Reyes, Renz Valerio and Sweet Ramos) for retrieving the lost Gintong Kalasag of Lapu-Lapu in Cebu. There is a death threat on the president and their lives are all put in danger. It turns out the culprit is no one else but a presidential guard (Michael Flores) and Raymart as Bantatay is pitted against him.
