Dominic Zapata makes Eugene Domingo happy

DIRECTOR DOMINIC ZAPATA was absent at the first presscon of “My Valentine Girls”, where the other two directors of the trilogy were present, Andoy Ranay and Chris Martinez, so he showed up at its final presscon last Thursday night. We ask him if he’s the director referred to by Eugene Domingo as the one “na nagpapaligaya sa akin ngayon”. “Yes, ako nga po,” he admits. “I direct her in ‘Comedy Bar’ at dun kami naging close, lalo na ng magkasama kami sa shows sa Dubai.” “But he’s not courting me,” says Uge. “We’re just friends. Natutuwa lang ako sa kanya kasi ang mga director ko, puro gay, siya lang ang lalaki.” “Hoy, hindi ka pa sure diyan”, jokes Direk Dominic who was the BF of Krista Ranillo for the longest time. He megs the “Soulmate” episode of “My Valentine Girls” with Richard Gutierrez as a ghost haunting Rhian Ramos. Tonight, don’t miss a special feature on the making of “My Valentine Girls” will be shown on GMA-7 at 11 PM. On Tuesday, the film will be premiered at SM Megamall and opens nationwide on Wednesday.
