Barbie Forteza denies rivalry among Tween Hearts stars

BARBIE FORTEZA denies there’s rivalry among them members of GMA-7 Tween Stars. “Nagugulat nga kami kasi maganda ang samahan namin but pinalalabas na may inggitan between us, like noong mapili si Louise de los Reyes in Alakdana,” she says. “We’re all happy for her. We know inaalagaan kaming lahat ng GMA.”

Barbie is the title roler in “Nita Negrita” that starts this Monday after “Alakdana”. As the title suggest, she is African-American so black make up is applied all over her to make her look like a real “negrita”. “Madugo po yung lagayan ng make up so I report early sa set para mapaitim na agad ako before taping starts. Tapos, pag-uwian na, huli rin akong umuuwi kasi kailangang alisin muna ang black make up sa balat ko.”

She’s once again paired with her perennial partner, Joshua Dionisio as Prince, and playing villain to her is Lexi Fernandez as Misty. Also in the cast are Rachelle Anne Go (in her first soap), Diana Zubiri, Lotlot de Leon, Zoren Legaspi, Lollie Mara and Bubbles Paraiso.
