TV 5 next top network

TV5 CHAIRMAN Manny Pangilinan really wants to make their station one of the country’s top networks with the groundbreaking of its new building and studios (63,000 sq. m.) at Reliance St., Mandaluyong last Sunday. Also present were Mandaluyong Mayor Benjamin "Benhur" Abalos Jr. and Congressman Neptali "Boyet" Gonzales II. The new edifice, TV5 Media Center, will centralize its operations in one location since they currently operate from various studios and offices in Novaliches, Broadway Centrum, SM Skydome, The Fort and PLDT Makati. Designed with the most modern technology in the country, phase one of the construction will be finished by year end. How much is its cost? “It’s between big and very big,” says Mr. Pangilinan. “It’s my biggest investment project ever.” The two other networks really have reason to be alarmed.
