Iza Calzado to host Eat Bulaga

IZA CALZADO looks fabulous in her figure hugging black dress at the thanksgiving presscon of “Beauty Queen” that is now airing its finale week. So who’ll get her in the end: Luis Alandy as Dante or TJ Trinidad as Marc? “Actually, I’ll end up with Bembol Roco,” she jokes as Bembol plays a gay character. “Siempre, hindi ko sasabihin dahil spoiler yun. Basta abangan nyo as one of them will die.”

So what’s her next project after this? It’s her manager, Noel Ferrer, who answers: “She’ll be co-hosting ‘Eat Bulaga’ soon. Also, she’ll appear as one of the leading ladies in ‘Ang Panday 2’ of Sen. Bong Revilla, playing Maria Makiling, and Lualhati Bautista is doing the script of another project for her, ‘Querida’.”

Her career is no doubt doing well, but is it true her love affair with businessman Atticus King is turning sour? “Ewan kung ba’t may lumalabas na ganyan when it’s not true. Let’s not talk about him na lang kasi he’s really a very private person. When it comes to my lovelife, it’s really boring, wala akong masasabi.” Iza also doesn’t want to talk about her dad, Lito, who was reported to have undergone an operation recently due to an undisclosed illness. “Let’s just pray for my dad.”
