Gary Valenciano Thrilled to perform with Charice Pempengco

GARY VALENCIANO is thrilled to do his “1@11” concert with Charice at MOA grounds Friday night. “We’ve sang in ‘ASAP’ but this is the first time I’m doing a concert just with her so I’m excited as she’s an excellent performer,” he says. “When we step on that stage together, it will be unforgettable. She not only sings but also dances well. It’s a feather on my cap to perform with her, with Mon Faustino as our musical director.”

The concert is produced by Lord of Scents Joel Cruz who got Gary and Charice as his latest endorsers. Why them? “Gary V is so talented. I love all his songs and there’s only one Gary V. I’ve seen him perform even in the States where they give him standing ovation. My company is now going international and he’s the perfect endorser to introduce his own cologne in markets abroad. The same goes for Charice. She’s also an international star. I’ve seen her shows abroad and I feel so proud when I see foreigners applauding her. I’m sure her and Gary’s perfumes will be bestsellers not only here but also abroad.”

How did Gary feel when Joel got him to have his own perfume brand? “It’s a privilege to be an endorser of Joel Cruz. I saw his passion to make sure he’ll get the right mixture for me. And the concert he’s producing for us ni Charice is also something I really look forward to.”
