ABS-CBN breaking up Gerald-Kim tandem

LAST YEAR, the Kim Chiu-Gerald Anderson love team did two TV shows and also two movies ("Paano Na Kaya", "Till My Heartaches End"). This year, ABS-CBN is really breaking up their tandem (which also ended in real life) as they'll be given different partners for their new shows. Kim will be paired with Coco Martin (who'll play a dual role) in "Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin" (formerly "The General's Daughter") where they'll be supported by senior stars Lorna Tolentino, Albert Martinez (back to acting after megging "Rosario"), Amy Austria, Ronaldo Valdez and Agot Isidro. Gerald, in turn, will be paired with former GMA star Jewel Mische in her first ABS show, "Buhawi Jack", (no longer "Bagwis"), an action-fantasy where Gerald will play the title role. Will Kimerald fans still support them even if Kim and Gerald are now separated from each other? Only the ratings can tell.
