Eugene Domingo paired with Aga Mulach in Metanoia

EUGENE DOMINGO has two entries in the Metro filmfest: “Tanging Ina Mo Rin” with Ai Ai de las Alas and the first 3-D animated local film made by Filipinos for Filipinos from Ambient Media and Star Cinema, “RPG: Metanoia”, where she does voice acting. “Excited ako with ‘Metanoia’ kasi ang leading man ko, si Aga Muhlach,” she says. “Mag-asawa kami rito at si Zaijian Jaranilla ang anak namin. Nanghihinayang nga lang si Aga kasi dahil di kami totoong tao rito kundi cartoons, pero okay na rin kasi bihira lang magkaroon ng ganitong project sa local films.”

Zaijian plays Nico, a weak and shy boy who enjoys playing Metanoia, an online role-playing game where he becomes Zero, his alter ego who’s a strong and tough hero. Soon, the game world affects his real world and it’s up to Nico to save the real world from destruction in an adventure of a lifetime with the help of friends Bryan (Jairus Aquino), Bobby (Aaron Junatas), Mark (Basti Alcances), and May (Mike de la Cruz). In the process, Nico realizes one doesn’t need super powers to be a real hero. Directed by animation veteran Louie Suarez, it features awesome music from Gerald Salonga’s FilHarmonika Orchestra. “This is perfect entertainment for the whole family this Christmas season,” adds Eugene who’s proud to be part of it.
