Album launching of Bayani Agbayani and Sakto

LAUNCHED WITH Mr. Fu’s album are also those of Bayani Agbayani and the male trio, Sakto. Bayani’s novelty album has three original songs, “Todo Bigay”, “Buti Pa ang Pera” at “Ayaw sa Akin”, all catchy, easy to follow and carry good messages. Since it’s Christmas, it has one holiday song “Silent Night Na Naman” and he got the privilege of doing a duet with top comedian Eugene Domingo (in her first recording) for the song “FM Ka, AM Ako” written by hitmaker Rey Valera as a tribute to radio DJ’s who help the music industry. Watch Bayani promote his album at PAGCOR casinos at Heritage Hotel tonight December 7, Paranaque on December 13, Cebu on December 18, then mall tours in January. “I really missed recording kaya ‘Todo Bigay’ talaga ko in this new album,” says Bayani who had a big hit before, “Ocho-Ocho Na”.

The male trio Sakto is the freshest song-and-dance male group on TV today seen regularly in TV5’s Sunday show “Party on 5” consisting of Rodjun Cruz, Edgar Allan Guzman and Lucky Mark Mercado. They front acted for David Archuleta in his album tour where they did their popular act “Rampa” written by Jungee Marcelo. Rodjun is the older brother of Rayver Cruz who used to be with Star Magic but is now managed by the amiable Noel Ferrer. He’s now a lead actor in ABS-CBN’s “Juanita Banana”. Edgar Allan is a Mr. Pogi winner who got acclaim for his role as a young dad in the award-winning indie film, “Astig”. He just did “Magdamag” with Rita Avila. He’ll soon do the film version of the best selling novel “Ligo Na U, Lapit Na Me”. Lucky Mark used to host “Ka-Blog” on GMA-7, a youth show guiding teens and their parents about the challenges of adolescence. It’s where Lucky’s singing, dancing and hosting skills were first discovered. Individually, they have their own fans but as Sakto, their debut album will surely win them more admirers. It has six songs that include their hit “Rampa” plus three Christmas songs: “Christmas Bonus”, “Ngayong Pasko” and “Wish I Could This Christmas” by Dingdong Avanzado. All the minus ones are also in the album.
