Matt Evans happy for Melissa Ricks and Jake Cuenca

MATT EVANS was originally paired with Melissa Ricks and their love team somehow did good in projects like “Pedro Penduko”, “Kambal sa Uma” and “Tanging Yaman”. But Melissa was linked with Jake Cuenca and Matt now gets a new leading lady in “Juanita Banana” where he plays the dwarf, Prince Rikitik, who’s paired with title-roler Bianca Manalo. How does he feel about Melissa’s being more identified now with Jake?

“I don’t meddle sa lovelife ni Melissa kahit close kami,” he says. “Her personal life is none of my business, so sa kanila na lang yun. Basta friends pa rin kami at okay lang sa’kin if ABS would pair us again in the future.”

How is it working with Bianca in “Juanita Banana”? “It’s fun kasi masaya siyang kasama off and on cam. By nature, kikay siya kaya di ka maaalangan sa kanya. We quickly became comfortable with each other. I really love this project kasi first time kong gumanap na dwarf. Marami kaming nakakatuwang eksena, lalo na yung sumasayaw ako sa ibabaw ng palad ni Bianca.”

In this sense, we can say Matt antedates Heart Evangelista’s similar dwarf role in “Dwarfina”.
