Paolo Contis says wedding to Lian Paz can wait

PAOLO CONTIS doesn’t mind if he’s just second choice to Patrick Garcia in his role as Lester in “Little Star”. Patrick decided tu turn it down so he can take care of their son AJ while mom Jennylyn Mercado is taping for the show. “Akala ko nga, my next teleserye is ‘Amaya’, the epic costume drama starring Marian Rivera,” he says. “E, pinatawag ako rito, so okay lang.”

He’s working very hard now as he’s having his own four-bedroom house constructed for partner Lian Paz and their 8-month old daughter Xonia whose fotos Paolo proudly displays in his cellfone. Is it true Lian is preggy with their second baby? “We’re not sure yet. We’ll learn later and we don’t want to assume now as it’s too early to tell. Funny kasi gusto munang magpapayat ni Lian pero kung preggy nga siya uli, okay lang as I enjoy being a father and blessing yun from God. About our house, hopefully, maayos na yun at makalipat kami roon this December para doon ang first Christmas ng family namin.”

How about their wedding? “That’s what we’re planning next. But mabuti na yung bago kami ikasal ng bongga, may bahay na kaming sarili. Hopefully, malaki na si Xonia para siya ang flower girl.”
