PAOLO AVELINO is grateful that GMA-7 management didn’t just drop him after he got LJ Reyes preggy. The network continued to support him and he’s now part of the hit telefantasya about good and evil sorcerers, “Ilumina”. “I play a good role as bad guy reformed by Rhian Ramos,” he says. “I’m in love with her and I became her defender after Aljur Abrenica as seduced with a love potion by Jackie Rice. I’m ready to marry her but she told me si Aljur talaga ang mahal niya so she gets broken hearted. There’ll be a twist in my role later.”
His last assignment was also a telefantasya, “Panday Kids”. “Nalilinya nga ako sa ganyan, but I love doing it kasi maraming action scenes. I really want to try action. But I also miss doing straight drama.”
Paolo and LJ now live together with their son, Ethan Akio. “My son inspires me to do better in my life and career. Tuwing makikita ko siya, he really lights up my life.”
