JENNYLYN'S ROSARIO FIRST METRO FILMFEST ENTRY TO FINISH FILMING

STUDIO 5 and Cinema Buhay’s period drama, “Rosario”, is the first entry to the Metro Manila Filmfest in December to have completed its principal photography. Directed by Albert Martinez and starring Dennis Trillo, Yul Servo, Sid Lucero, Phillip Salvador, Dolphy and Jennylyn Mercado in the title role. They now have all the time to polish the film, especially its CGI effects that are used in the scenes set in the 1920s. The other entries that shooting now are Regal’s “Super Inday and the Magic Bibe” with Marian Rivera and “Shake, Rattle and Roll XII” with a star-studded cast, GMA Films-Imus Productions-MZet co-production “Agimat ni Enteng” starring Bong Revilla and Vic Sotto, RVQ Productions’ “Fr. Jejemon” starring Dolphy (we think they should change the title as Jejemon is now so passé), and ABS-CBN’s animation flick “RPG”. Two Star Cinema entries have yet to go into full blast photography: the comedy “Tanging Ina Mo Rin” with Ai Ai de las Alas and Eugene Domingo, and the horror flick “Dalaw” with Kris Aquino.
