BOY ABUNDA'S TALENTS RAKE IN A LOT OF MONEY FOR HIS COMPANY

BOY ABUNDA’S roster of talents at Backroom continues to multiply, doing good business for his company. The latest additions are Laarni Lozada, Pinoy Dream Academy 2 winner, and actress Aiko Melendez who’s in TV5’s “Lonely Hearts Club”. Also with him now are PBB’s Tom Rodriguez and Hermes Bautista. Tom is in “Petrang Kabayo” and TV5’s “My Driver Sweet Lover” as Dina Bonnevie’s toyboy. Hermes is taping a new soap with ABS.

His biggest talent remains to be Ai Ai de las Alas, the country’s undisputed Comedy Concert Queen, who’ll celebrate her 20th Anniversary in showbiz with ‘Akin ang Tronong ‘To’ at the Araneta Coliseum on November 19. She’s also busy with M3 (Malay Mo Madevelop) on ABS with Aga Muhlach and Star Cinema’s 2010 MMFF entry, “Tanging Ina Mo, Last Na”. She plugs Maggi Magic Sarap, Smart, Puregold Price Club, Mang Inasal and Gal’s Bakery.

Prince of Pop Erik Santos gets 4 awards. He recently got a platinum album award for “Erik Santos: The Jim Brickman Song Book” that won Pop Album of the Year in Star Awards for Music, the Star Male Pop Artist of the Year plum and best male artist. He’ll do a tour of SM Malls for his Star Records Christmas album, a show at Pagcor Paranaque on November 5 and Villa Caceres Naga on November 27. On TV, he’s in ASAP and Star Power.

Bianca Gonzalez is one of the most bankable young female hosts today hosting SNN, Studio 23’s Y Speak, TFC Connect and Cinema One’s Cinema News. She is also active in her advocacies: Unicef and Teach Kids To Learn Foundation. She endorses Meg, Calayan Surgicenter, Yin Yang Cooling Tea and Avon Mix.

Bossa Nova Queen Sitti, a regular in ASAP, is currently busy with corporate shows and provincial live gigs. She’s in Martini’s Bar at Mandarin Hotel on all Wednesdays of November and will have a birthday concert at Metrobar on November 21.

K Brosas will have a solo concert at the Music Museum on November 12. She’s also busy with corporate shows and provincial live gigs like the “For Heartsake: A Christmas Concert” at BSP Auditorium in San Fernando, La Union on December 3. Funnyman Pooh is busy with Banana Split and has an upcoming show in Saudi Arabia on December 4.
