AFTER HIS STINT in PBB, Rocky Salumbides, now better known as Eula Valdez' boyfriend, tries doing movies. He's introduced in "D'Survivors" as the love interest of flight attendant K Brosas and plays a serious role in "Tarima", a prison movie, as Fanny Serrano's lover in jail. Not many know that Rocky has established a career as an international ramp and commercial model. "I joined the MTV Fashionista contest and I won so I was sent to an international modeling contest in Istanbul where I was a runnerup," he says. "That started my international modeling career. I've worked in Hongkong, Singapore, Bangkok, China, London and the last one was in Cape Town in South Africa."
He was here on vacation when he was asked to be Eula Valdes' leading man in her music video. That ignited their love affair and they now live in. He has no problems with Eula's two sons and they get along fine. How did he join PBB? "They called me if I'd be interested so sinubukan ko, pero hindi nga ako nakatagal sa loob as I missed Eula. I'm supposed to go back to modeling abroad but because of her, I'm staying put. Heto, I'm trying acting naman."
