Raymond Gutierrez back to work after US Vacation

RAYMOND GUTIERREZ is back hosting "Showbiz Central" after his two-week vacation in the U.S. They talked to LJ Reyes whose non-showbiz friends hosted a baby shower for her last Saturday. LJ is leaving for the U.S. on April 30 and Paulo Avelino will just follow her there later as he's still busy taping for "Panday Kids". Also featured is the preparation that Mark Herras did for his number in "Party Pilipinas" with Cebu's dancing inmates. "Bilib ako sa kanila," he says. "They have perfect blocking, synchronized and disciplined ang movements. I can relate with them kasi nga my own dad is in prison. I'm thankful and proud nakasayaw ko sila."

In Scenes of Compassion, Regine Velasquez is shown helping a boy with a cleft lip and palate who plays a role in her hit show, "Diva". She will shoulder the expenses for the boy's surgery to correct his defects and the surgeon who examined him says he's very happy because his condition is treatable. This good Samaritan act of Regine will surely bring her more blessings as the Lord cannot be outdone in generosity.

Aubrey Miles is incensed with the invasion of her privacy. She played tennis recently and while she's changing her clothes in the locker room, she didn't know someone was taking her pictures and these were sold to a tabloid. "I don't know kung paano ako nakunan," she says. "Sana naman, respeto na lang kasi private place yung locker room."

As part of their "Sanib Puwersa", the hosts of "Showbiz Central" invited editor-columnist Ricky Lo to talk about this and Ricky said he himself will not publish such photos on his paper to show respect for the privacy of stars. "I know where to draw the line," he says. A lawyer, Atty. Myra Roa, was also consulted and says Aubrey can file a case in court against those who took the photos and those who publish them as these are against the law.
