"I helped her research on the internet about questions usually asked sa Q&A portion and we watched past pageant nights together tapos kunwari ako ang judge asking her questions," he says.
Is it true "SOP" will soon be axed to be replaced by a new show? "I really don't know. Wala pa namang sinasabi sa amin. But if that were true, I'm gonna be sad as that's where I started."
Jay-R is paired with Kyla in "Groovin' Love" along with Billy Crawford and Nikki Gil of "ASAP", a Valentine show at the SMX MOA on February 14. So this will be a showdown between SOP and ASAP stars. "We don't think of it that way. We just want to have a show where viewers will get to see us all together for the first time."
Will Krissa Mae watch the show? "I hope so. Sana Bb. Pilipinas would allow her. I know they're busy with rehearsals for their pre-pageant night and the actual coronation night. This will be a memorable one for us as it's our first Valentine together. Maybe we'll go out for dinner later."
How come he hasn't done any acting lately? "GMA offered me 'Panday Kids' but I begged off as the taping will coincide with some gigs I'm doing abroad. Sayang nga, but ayoko namang mabitin sila."
