Camille Villar talks about dad Sen. Manny Villar

HOW IS SEN. Manny Villar as a father? "He's a good family man," says his only daughter Camille. "He's very thoughtful, protective, ideal husband and dad." How's their family taking the tirades against her dad in the senate? "We're really sad kasi two years na issue and each time tumataas ang ratings niya sa surveys, they revive it and, lately, naging personal na ang attacks sa kanya. Pinagtutulungan siya. Lahat naman ng issues na yan, nasagot na niya, kaya ngayon, hindi na lang siya kumikibo kasi paulit-ulit na lang yung accusations sa kanya at ngayon, may mga ibang imbento na lang, like yung nag-bribe daw siya. If that were true, bakit ngayon lang inilabas?"

Many people feel that the senators have degraded themselves with the way they conducted themselves during the alleged hearings on her dad. "That's true. My dad nga says when he was the senate president, people were satisfied with the senate. But now, people are making fun of them as they act like characters in a soap opera."

How come even Dolphy is now being attacked for supporting her dad? "My dad is really just so lucky that Dolphy chose to support him. Ever since kasi, pinaglalaban niyang maging national artist na si Dolphy. How sad na pati si Dolphy, sinisiraan when he's an institution in local films."

Is it true Sarah Geronimo is also endorsing her dad? "She has always been a good of our whole family and we'll be happy if she'd support my dad."

The jingle of Sen. Villar is now memorized even by little children? "Yes, my dad is so glad it became a hit. Marami ng versions. May gay version, may for teachers, for lawyers, may Japanese and Korean pa. It can only mean It can only mean more people are aware of my dad's advocacies."
