BEA ALONZO admits she missed doing a movie with John Lloyd Cruz after he was paired with Sarah Geronimo in two consecutive films that both earned more money than the movies they did together. "Noong una, kinabahan ako," she says. "I thought nawala na ako sa eksena. Saan pa ba ko lalagay after he was accepted with Sarah? But I was able to appreciate their movies, kung paano nila pinaghirapan yun. Magaganda naman talaga. I'm genuinely happy for John Lloyd and their director, Cathy Garcia, na siya ring director namin ngayon in our new movie, 'Miss You Like Crazy', kasi pareho silang malapit sa puso ko. After that, I had to move on and it's my turn naman to be paired with another actor, si Sam Milby in 'I Love You So', na tinanggap din ng tao. Now, it's our turn tatlo nina John Lloyd at Direk Cathy na magkatrabaho ulit and I'm so happy about it kasi Star Cinema has come up with a great new material for us."
"'Miss You Like Crazy' is not the usual rom-com," says Direk Cathy. "It's something new as we want to try a different kind of love story. Even the way we tell the story is different kaya sana magustuhan ng tao."
