KRIS AQUINO declared in her TV show that she and James Yap are in speaking terms again. She stayed with her sister Pinky for only two days then she moved to a unit in Serendra at the Fort lent to her by a family friend. James joined them there later. They'll eventually move to their own condo unit at One Roxas in Makati which she bought. "I can't say we're totally okay but generally, maayos na," she said. "The important thing is that we're both committed to make this marriage work for the sake of our son."
It's her son Baby James who softened her heart about her husband. The child reportedly said, "Wala na papa." And then her eldest son, Joshua, added. "Tito James, wala na." Her sister Pinky called Kris' attention to this. "Ayan, these two lives are being disrupted. Affected sila, kaya tama na."
That's enough for Kris' heart to melt and she no longer objected when James wanted to talk her. "James and I have a responsibility to be good parents so we have to be on our best behavior towards each other. We have both pledged na ayusin namin ang aming marriage. I'd really like to thank my sisters for being so supportive each time a crisis like this happens to my family."
