ONE OF THE most promising male newcomers on ABS-CBN is PBB recruit Joshua Garcia, whose main claim to fame is that he looks like a younger version of John Lloyd Cruz. After being paired with his PBB ka-love team Loisa Andalio in “Nasaan Ka Nang Kailangan Kita”, Joshua now goes solo in “The Greatest Love” as the son of Dimples Romana who becomes very to close to his lola, Sylvia Sanchez, to whom Dimples is very hostile. Doesn’t he miss Loisa?
“Yes. Siempre, kasi naging special friend ko talaga since PBB and while taping our soap. Naging sobrang matalik kaming magkaibigan. Pero hindi naging kami kasi sobrang napakabata niya. She’s only 16.”
Aside from Loisa, he’s very open in saying he has a big crush on Kathryn Bernardo and he’s glad to be part of Kathryn’s new movie with Daniel Padilla filmed in Barcelona, Spain. What qualities of Kathryn does he like in her?
“Unang-una, I like yung mahinhing-mahinhin siya. Babaeng-babae ang dating. Mabait siya. Alam niyang baguhan lang ako and she’s very friendly to me. Pareho sila ni Daniel. Mababait sila. Naging close kaming lahat while shooting in Barcelona. Inggit nga ako kasi sobrang sweet sila sa isa’t isa. Hanggang nakabalik na kami rito, friends pa rin kami.”
Looks like ABS-CBN really sees a great potential in him as he has a new movie and a new TV show.”I want to thank them for their trust in me, kaya naman ginagawa ko ang lahat para maging maayos ang trabaho ko.
