LUIS MANZANO and his intriguing original game show, “Tamang Hinala”, leads the list of new programs launched by PIE Channel at Sequioa Hotel.

The other shows are Robi Domingo’s “Watchawin”, Eric Nicolas’ “Mukhang Perya” featuring games played in peryahans, Melai Cantivero’s “Ur Da Boss” and Jolina Magdangal and Bayani Agbayani’s “Sinong Manok Mo”.

They will occupy PIE Channel’s 6 PM slot starting September 9 to offer a pleasant alternative entertainment to our viewers.

These shows will not only amuse you but also you give the chance to win cash prizes to be paid immediately via G-cash.

This is Luis Manzano’s first show with the PIE Channel. What prompts him to accept their offer to host their game show, “Tamang Hinala”?

“E kasi, kaliwaan ang bayad,” he says in all seriousness. “Alam nyo naman, may anak na ako.”

The writers present in the launch of PIE’s new shows all laughed.

“But honestly, I got excited by its concept kasi it’s an original show,” he adds.

“It’s something very different for me, after coming from the so many shows I’ve hosted before that are all franchises.”

“Tamang Hinala” will be aired on weekends, 6:30 to 7:30 PM, Saturdays and Sundays.

“When they presented the format to me, it’s like crime or detective shows such as ‘CSI’ or ‘SOCO’, but with a twist as the viewers will be given the chance to win prizes if they can correctly guess kung sino ang salarin.”

In the episode they previewed to the press to demonstrate how the program is conducted, four press people were in a restaurant when a brownout happened and someone stole something from a waiter who cried unabashedly. Guess what was stolen: a kiss!

So the four press people are grilled and they also made guesses as to who they think the culprit is.

It’s really funny with Albert Bryan of Chikaness Ave as one of the suspects and looks like he has the talent to be an effortless comedian as the audience is buying loudly all his hilarious antics.

“Maganda yung show kasi wala kaming sinusunod na script,” adds Luis.

“I even have the freedom to do my own blocking and I’m enjoying hosting it.”

If he’d be given the chance, who would he like to be his four guest suspects in a future episode?

“Siempre, I will choose my wife (Jessy Mendiola), my mom (Vilma Santos), my dad (Edu Manzano) and Tito Ralph (Recto). Para kahit sino ang manalo, ibibigay na lang nila sa’kin para sa anak ko.”

Luis is obviously enjoying his new role as father to Isabella Rose or Baby Peanut.

He and Jessy had their intimate wedding in February, 2021. Their daughter was born on December 28, 2022 and she was baptized in April of this year.

Both the parents are very good looking, so it’s not surprising that Baby Peanut or Rosie is such an adorable cutie pie who can easily still anyone’s heart.

We won’t be surprised it she’d follow in the footsteps of her grandma, Ate Vi, who started as a child star.

Luis says he doesn’t mind if their baby would later join showbiz, but he prefers that like him, she’d finish her studies first.

Luis also says that he and Jessy are looking forward to welcoming another addition in the family, hopefully a baby brother for Rosie next time, as Rosie is really growing so fast and is now eating solid food.
