GABBY (also known as Vito) AND KIEL GUECO are better known in social media as the Gueco Twins/
They now get their big break in mainstream showbusiness as they are introduced as part of the cast of the new GMA-7 youth-oriented series, “Luv Is: Love at First Read”.
This will replace “Family Feud” at 5:40 PM, just before “24 Oras” starting this Monday.
The twins gained fame as social media stars doing dance covers for Tiktok and Instagram.
They then joined a dance contest in “Eat Bulaga” that gained them more fans who are so entertained by their amazing moves on the dance floor.
They are both really athletic and also love playing basketball.
They join basketball tournaments and help their team win trophies. One time, Gabby even took home the MVP or Most Valuable Player Award.
They both dreamed of being professional basketball players.
The twins are also both very family-oriented and they even did a Tiktok video with their whole family.
All of them even competed in “Family Feud”. Their whole family is very active spiritually and they are all God-fearing.
In their videos, they often include a Bible verse on the photos that they upload, with the caption “All for God.”
At the presscon of “Luv Is: Love at First Road”, the twins wore matching outfits, unlike some other twins who avoid putting on similar getups so that people will be able to identify them more easily.
“Okay lang naman for us to wear the same clothes kasi they contribute to better visual synchronization when we dance,” says Gabby aka Vito.
“Mas maganda tingnan on screen kung nagsasayaw kami nang sabay at pareho ang aming mga suot na OOTD,” adds Kiel.
But they quickly add that they also have their differences.
“Magkaiba rin naman kami ng taste sa maraming bagay,” says Gabby. “Lalo na when it comes to girls.”
“Which is good kasi we never had a crush on the same girl,” adds Kiel.
“Kaya naman we have never had any conflict when it comes to that department.”
So what are their roles in “Luv Is: Love at First Read”?
“We play the cousins of Mavi,” says Gabby. “We have many scenes together.”
“We had fun with Mavi and Kyline and the whole cast,” says Kiel.
“Baguhan lang kami sa pag-arte but they all treated us well so we really enjoyed our experience in the first drama series that we did.”
